The Doberman Pinscher Club of the Rocky Mountain Area (DPCRMA), founded in
1960, promotes the Doberman Pinscher by taking part in breed showcases,
sponsoring seminars for the Doberman fancy, and supporting entries at
All-Breed shows.
In addition, we also host annual Specialty (Doberman only) Shows which
offers Breed Conformation, Puppy Sweepstakes, Veteran classes, Obedience,
Junior Handling, and a Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE). In the past, we
have offered an Educational Scholarship to a veterinary student at Colorado
State University, School of Veterinarian Medicine.
Our membership has a diverse background in the sport of purebred dogs,
including years in conformation, obedience, agility, tracking, Schutzhund,
and professional handlers and trainers. Some of our members have served as
officers and board members for the Doberman Pinscher Club of America.
