SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13 2015 at Rocwind Canine Center starting at noon.
This is our club's Introduction to Barn Hunt event which is to be followed by some social time (after a short club meeting) at Senior Ric's Mexican Restaurant, hence the name for the event.
For those not familiar with Barn Hunt, it is basically an event which tests your dog's scent instinct by trying to locate a rat hidden among bales of hay, much like a real barn setting. The rat, of course, is secured in a tube for its protection and to keep it from running away. There are rules however, so please go to www.barnhunt.com for more information and to familiarize yourself with the rules if you plan to attend and especially if you plan to bring your dogs.
The event will be held on Sunday, 09/13/2015, starting at Noon at:
Rocwind Canine Center
15636 E Batavia Dr
Aurora, CO 80011
Go to www.rocwindk9.com for a map.
-- This event is for Doberman owners and club members only!!
A short meeting will follow at 2:00pm at this location. Guests Welcome!
Socialization will be at Senor Ric's after the meeting. Guests Welcome!
